1954:  Builder and Contractor, Dietrich Krause, having moved from Europe and purchased a lot in Vancouver to build a home for his young family. Three generations and hundreds of projects later, the Krause family is now in its 58^th year in the Canadian construction industry.

2010: The Krause family acquired Mold Squad Corporation: a successful Calgary-based mold remediation and building envelope restoration service company (est. 1995). Mold Squad is now a division of Building Works Ltd.

Today: Building Works Ltd. continues to serve and expand within the Alberta market, and excels by incorporating the best practices and techniques, using the most appropriate materials, and by employing highly skilled workers in all divisions to ensure a job well done, every time.
